The Highlander Transition Academy is equipped with a full kitchen and laundry facilities. Students gain hands on experience in food prep, cooking, and baking as well as practice with proper food safety and storage. Through instructional scaffolds and building upon mastered skills students are encouraged to become as independent as possible.
