At the Highlander Transition Academy every student has access to the support they need to be successful in the classroom and in the workplace.  By taking a whole student approach, we frame our instruction to play off of the strengths of our students. Morning functional academics are conducted at HTA campus. Classes average between 8-10 students with access to at minimum one instructor and one support staff. Units of instruction target the Connecticut CORE transition skill standards while still remaining flexible enough to target weaknesses as they arise.
