The Highlander Transition Academy works in partnership with our local communities to provide students with the experiences they will need to be successful in their future. These experiences range from grocery shopping, using public transportation, and a variety of vocational experiences. HTA believes the best way to learn is through doing. Students are encouraged to begin to make their own decisions, advocate for their needs and preferences, and plan for their furtures.
